Kilograms, pounds & potatoes
1 kilogram = 2.2 pounds (2.20462 if you're a stickler like Mr. Tyler). Canada sells by the kilogram; most of us still think in pounds. So we show both.
- ๐ฅ 1 kg โ 5โ6 medium potatoes โ dinner for a family of four
- ๐๏ธ 5 lb โ 2.3 kg: the classic grocery-store bag
- ๐ 100 lb โ 45 kg: a chip truck's busy weekend
Why our prices are what they are
Our base rate covers good seed potatoes, a full season of planting, hilling, weeding and beetle patrol, and hand-sorting every bag so you only get the good ones. You're buying straight from the people who grew them, here in Port Perry.
